Roasted Pork Tenderloin a la Grainy Dijon

This recipe is very delicious and full of flavour. Most importantly it takes no time to prepare. There is only 3 ingredients! When you are using good quality ingredients, sometimes simplicity really lets all the flavours shine through.

SERVES 4

INGREDIENTS

4  cloves of garlic, minced
3  tbsp of grainy Dijon style mustard
1  pork tenderloin, approximately 1lbs or 500 grams
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.

Combine minced garlic and mustard together in a small bowl. Cut away all slithers from the pork.

Place pork on a heavy roasting pan, cover it with the mustard mixture and put it in the oven. Turn down the heat to 350 degrees F. after 15 minutes.

Remove the pork when its internal temperature is registered at 145 degrees F., the total roasting time is approximately 45 minutes.

Cover with foil and let it rest for 15 minutes.

TIP DU JOUR:
I wouldn’t add additional salt to coat the pork as most mustards have salt already added. It is a good idea to check your label to be sure. You can always season your plate later.
