This wine is ripe, full of flavour spilling all over the palette displaying smoky and dark cherry flavours. In addition there is a hint of tangy acidity. It is a well balanced wine with good finish. PRICE ANALYSIS: Good buy. LAST WORDS: I really enjoyed it, it was a delicious wine in this price range. Sugar Content : 1 Alcohol/Vol.: 12.5% LCBO Price: $15.05 LCBO # 669309 \| 750 mL bottle This a ruby red, light-medium wine with vivid strawberry/raspberry jam aromas plus some herb and earthy notes. Well balanced with light acidity and tannins it lends to a good finish. The flavours are a mouthful of strawberry jam mingled with a hint of roasted cherries and more earthy notes. PRICE ANALYSIS: Good price for a good wine. LAST WORDS: A very good wine, delicious! Its medium body qualities and easy drinking properties make it a perfect BBQ wine. The strawberry notes remind me of Zinfandel. Drinking this wine just makes me smile, what a wonderful Canadian wine. Sugar Content : 1 Alcohol/Vol.: 12.5% Price: $11.15 LCBO # 433714 \| 750 mL bottle This a medium body wine with distinct ruby colour. Aromas include berry flavours, some peppery notes and I noticed a hint of tobacco. This is a simple wine with good tannins, not too much oak and jam like fruit flavours but it creates a wonderful simple-yet-complex-feel. A real gem in this price range. PRICE ANALYSIS: A real great buy for just over $10 dollars. LAST WORDS: A very good and complex wine.

Light peppery fragrance with a delicious berry-peppery taste. A well balanced wine with soft tannins and short but good finish. PRICE ANALYSIS: A real great buy for under $10 dollars. A good wine. WINERY Sugar Content : 1 Alcohol/Vol.: 13.0% Price: $13.15 LCBO # 270926 \| 750 mL bottle Dark cherry roasted coloured wine, very fragrant; with aromas of ripe berries and smoked chipotle pepper. The nose is reminiscent of a shiraz. Once the wine was sampled, it reveled its nature to be a full body wine with rich character. Dark fruit berry and spicy flavours dominate the palette. This wine if it could talk it wouldn't take its self too seriously, it has this whimsical quality raveled in the finish; as it is long, delicious, yet tangy. Overall well balanced. PRICE ANALYSIS: A real great buy for just over $13 dollars. Delicious full body wine. LAST WORDS: Bravo to the makers of this Canadian wine, a delicious representation of what Canadian wine makers can produce.	PELEE ISLAND GAMAY/ZWEIGELT V.Q.A. 2005 Made in: Ontario, Canada By: PELEE ISLAND VINEYARD INC. Sugar Content : 1 Alcohol/Vol.: 12.5% LCBO price: $11.15 LCBO # 216028 \| 750 mL bottle This a light body wine with a light ruby colour. The aromas show some berry flavours and crisp acidity. Once the wine opens up it has a delicate current fruit flavours as well a hint of oak. It has some light tannins that stick to the tongue and carry really well all the flavours and lead to a good and balanced finish. PRICE ANALYSIS: A real Canadian gem for this price. LAST WORDS: Please decant this wine or open it a few hours prior to drinking. It really opens up beautifully and shows it full complexity and structure. My friends and I, we enjoyed this wine and were pleasantly surprised by it.

Sugar Content : 1 Alcohol/Vol.: 12.5% Price: $12.15 LCBO # 22061 \| 750 mL bottle Medium red coloured wine with enticing plum aromas with a hint of vanilla. A medium body with gripping tannins but lucking the fruit so distinguished in the bouquet. This is not a VQA wine, its from imported and domestic wine. PRICE ANALYSIS: A good wine but could be better in this price range. LAST WORDS: A delicious nose but an ok taste.
