Apricot-Cognac Sherbet
This is
a very simple dessert to make with a very sophisticated adult taste. I
like to serve it at the end of elaborate party because this dessert
isn't heavy but is full of rich delicious flavours. Try also serving a
small golf ball size in an aperitif glass in between meals for a
cosmopolitan feel and to cleans the palette.
INGREDIENTS
1
bottle apricot nectar, chilled (700 mL)
¼ cup cognac
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
salt
Assemble
your ice cream maker and turn it on. Pour in to the bowl apricot nectar,
cognac, sweetened condensed milk and a dash of salt. No pre-combining
necessary.
Keep the ice cream maker running for 30-45 minutes deepening on your
manufacturers instructions. Transfer the semi-frozen mixture into a
container and place in the freezer for at least an hour.
TIP DU JOUR:
Turn this delicious ice cream dessert to an elegant drink.
Scoop some apricot-cognac sherbet into a martini glass, top with
Prosecco or your favorite sparkling wine and enjoy a delicious bellini.
